ABOUT
Luigi Chiapolino is a filmmaker and photographer, working in the space between art and architecture.
He was born in a small village in the Carnic Alps and grew up in Udine, north-eastern Italy.
In his films, he searches for a meditative and contemplative view of the human and nature, with a particular interest in the relationship with the architectures in which the characters move and live.
At the same time, in his photographic practice he observes and documents architecture, landscape and works of art with a prevailing interest in time and its action.
Recently, he began to take an interest in the representation of works of art in order to understand how culture and its journey through time and space can influence human perception and experience, and its impact.
